Sunday

Yesterday we went to a devotional for temple workers at the Tabernacle. As we were driving we could see a storm coming from the north, we drove right into it. At first it was rain, but by the time we got downtown, it was snowing and blowing hard. It wasn't a very pleasant walk to the Tabernacle from the parking lot, but once we got inside it was fine. We could hear the wind howling during the opening prayer. There was an inch or two when we left 2 hours later and the trees looked pretty with the snow on them. It was too bad that the Christmas lights weren't on yet, that would have been very nice.
We taught our last class in Sunday School (Marriage and Family Relations), now we have a break until January and then we will start over again with a new class. We are enjoying this calling, and hope to learn a lot for ourselves too. This group has been great with the comments and participation we have had.
I am off from the temple until 23 Dec. Dad and I are planning a trip to Moab sometime in early December. I like to plan my days off around the days off from the temple so I don't have to get a substitute. Re-paying the substitute can be difficult, working three days in a week at the temple is a challenge. Working at the temple is definitely work and I go home tired.
