I thought I should update you all on our progress in the baby department. We've been working with a reproductive specialist and right now I'm taking Clomid in preparation to undergo artificial insemination sometime next week. I figure most of us are familiar with this procedure, so I won't go into details (if you want them, call me). I'm nervous, excited, anxious, and trying hard not to get too worked up. Please keep our family in your prayers.

vacation???
Mom has posted this as a comment under the cupcake game, but I was afraid that it would get overlooked. Also, it should have it's own discussion thread. This is what she said:
Some are asking about another family vacation to Bear Lake (or maybe another destination). What is the interest among us? Let me know - time, place, etc.

100 Cupcakes Game
I saw this and thought it was perfect for our family! This person threw a party and had 100 cupcakes, each decorated to represent a different game. Some are video games, some are board games and some are parlor games. Check out the website and see how many you can guess:
100 cupcakes
I got 59. Keep track of how many you get right and post it in the comments section for all to see! I bet Quint gets the highest score, but I think everyone will have fun recognizing games that we play all the time!

What a month. . .
What a busy month. Between getting ready for Christmas and getting everything ready for the Primary to start a new year, I haven't had much time to relax. Fortunately I worked hard enough that I could relax and really enjoy Christmas day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
Even though it wouldn't be much trouble to go home on New Years Eve, we decided to spend the night at the Sampsel's. We only stayed up visiting a little bit after everyone else had gone home, but the next day really paid off. We had a really nice waffle with eggs & bacon breakfast. Then Dan, Brenda, Quint and I played a couple games of Pandemic. We even tried the new variation with Quint as the bio-terrorist. We didn't win either game, but came close and had a good time.
My family's 2 day Christmas party started that evening with dinner and visiting. The next morning we were on our way to go sledding with the family when our transmission went out. Mom, Dad & Julie came to our rescue. We had it towed to our mechanic and rented a van for the week. I took Corwin & Luke with me to the lunch and gift exchange portion of the party and salvaged the day OK.
All in all, we had a good holiday season and the new year is off to a decent start :-)
