What a difference four years can make, eh? The Olympics are half over and there have been quite a number of upsets. I’ve enjoyed many events, but I think my favorite moment so far has been Evan Lysacek winning gold in Men’s Figure Skating. I’m surprised by how many photo finishes there have been, as well. I’m glad you enjoy my little “fantasy” games. Let’s see if things even out this week. As usual, you are all invited over for the closing ceremonies next Sunday.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Dan. Lysacek gave an amazing performance. We turned on to watch and I saw a couple of skaters before him and was pretty non-plussed. Then when Lysacek skated I was absolutely rivited. There were some other good skaters, but his was head and shoulders above the others. I was so glad that he won and beat out Plushenko and his quad jump.
