I wanted to set up this blog so the family has a place to post pictures, share stories and just keep in touch. Jake's family has had a blog for several months now and it has been a really great way to keep up with everyone being so spread out.
I thought it would be best to make it private (only members of the family will be invited to view and comment), which means that we'll all need to create Google user names and IDs. Let me know what you think.
ok. i'm all for the blog, but i'm just afraid that you will find my life dull and boring. oh well. here goes nothing.
ReplyDeletei went to dr. theurers today. i hate the going to the dentist so much that i haven't gone in, oh, about 6-7 years. sure enough, i do have cavities. but i was expecting that. on the plus side? my teeth are very white after a good cleaning. i've got two appointments to get my cavities fixed. and then i will be on a strict 6 month visit with dr theurer for the rest of my life. anyway, this morning when i got up, i made myself so sick just thinking about going to the dentist, that i actually got sick. i had no color in my face, i had a hard time eating breakfast and then finding something to take for lunch. i ended up with a lot of bland food for lunch. but it worked out great for me. by the time i had to eat lunch, i wasn't all that hungry anyway.
over this past weekend, mom and i have been working on the family reunion. we have been getting all the pictures put together, and now i'm in the middle of burning them on cd's for people. (note: not everyone will get a cd.) i think we are just planning on giving one to each family. but who knows. it should be a fun time. i'll be sure to take pictures and post them for you leigh. :)
by the way, i like what you've got written under our family picture. we do have a lot of nuts, huh? :) but that's a good thing.
Ouch! Sorry about that, Julie! I know I've got some cavities that need to be taken care of, I just need to find a good dentist here in St. Louis.
ReplyDeleteyeah. it sucks. and i have to wait until the 2nd week of october to get them fixed. oh well. that's the price i have to pay for not taking care of my teeth. right?
