What a difference four years can make, eh? The Olympics are half over and there have been quite a number of upsets. I’ve enjoyed many events, but I think my favorite moment so far has been Evan Lysacek winning gold in Men’s Figure Skating. I’m surprised by how many photo finishes there have been, as well. I’m glad you enjoy my little “fantasy” games. Let’s see if things even out this week. As usual, you are all invited over for the closing ceremonies next Sunday.

Fantasy Olympics

The Olympics are here once again! I hope to see you Friday for the opening ceremonies. I'd like to set up a conference call with Leigh and Jake. If any of you know to go about that please let me know. I have prepared a fantasy game again to add a little more fun to watching the games. A rough table outlining the fives teams and countries is below. I've tried to make it as balanced as possible. I think it will be a tight contest. I plan to post updated medal counts on a regular basis throughout the games. We'll randomly assign the teams to each household on Friday, unless you'd like to know which team your house gets before then. Let me know. I'll talk to you soon.

The next step

I thought I should update you all on our progress in the baby department. We've been working with a reproductive specialist and right now I'm taking Clomid in preparation to undergo artificial insemination sometime next week. I figure most of us are familiar with this procedure, so I won't go into details (if you want them, call me). I'm nervous, excited, anxious, and trying hard not to get too worked up. Please keep our family in your prayers.
